Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is a well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina started her career as a writer at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy reports. While she found it interesting initially, she eventually dropped interest and purchased a small speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. After 18 years of making her store a huge success, she sold it, and then began creating her first novel. Many other cookbooks and magazine columns were later published. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too began its run and was a hit. The range of products includes kitchen equipment to ingredients as well as storage containers. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor worked in a restaurant and she is completely self-taught. She's known for her easygoing way of creating and entertaining.
